The SA-Z reels use a rigid aluminum alloy body and rotor with a Digigear designed stainless and bronze alloy gearing using 14 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing. The spool is a machined titanium nitride spool with titanium nitride lips for the superior handling of today's braided lines. The spool also has striking blue coloured accents and weight reducing porting. The SA-Z makes use of Twistbuster for reduced line twist and a hollow stainless Air Bail.
