Aquanaut Tours is a small tour company situated in the beautiful coastal town of Swakopmund, nestled alongside the Swakop river mouth on the west coast of Namibia.

The owner of the company is passionate about marine wildlife and therefore promotes this in the company’s work.

We offer fishing tours by boat or from the shore. The fishing is divided into two categories; namely: Specialized Shark fishing (all sharks released) and fishing for smaller edible fish.

We would love to share the experience of marine wildlife with our clients and the excitement involved in the fishing sport. With a personal touch we aim to make the memories of our clients unforgettable.

Our fishing guides have marine life knowledge and will point out any of the spectacular sites and sounds that are part of the Atlantic. Explore the hauntingly beautiful skeleton coast and discover a fishing paradise! Our tailor-made packages cater for the leisurley fishermen to the hard core hunter of the seas! Select from a 1 to 7 day itinerary including guide, equipment, bait, lunch packs, refreshments and accommodation (B&B). Shark fishing on a catch and release basis only.

On our boat fishing trips soft drinks, lunch packs, fishing equipment and bait are included. (min. 3 pax)

Our combo fishing trip includes a sit-down dinner after the days fishing.

Dinner usually entails:
· Fresh oysters (locally harvested)
· Catch of the day: char-grilled or baked
· Calamari stir-fry with peppers, garlic and herbs
· Fresh vegetables
· Spicy rice
· Greek salad with dressing
· Crispy bread rolls with butter

Cash bar:
Light dry white wine, mineral water, local Tafel Lager beer, soft drinks
A free bottle of wine for every 3 pax.

Trips include soft drinks and lunch packs. Fishing equipment and bait will be provided. (min. 2 – 3 pax)

Beach Lunches

Seafood Lunch:

• Fresh, chilled oysters with lemons
• Catch of the day char-grilled with a lemon and parsley basting sauce
• Mussel ‘potjie’ with seafood in white wine

OR

• Calamari stir-fry with peppers, garlic and herbs
• Fresh asparagus steamed and topped with butter
• Greek salad with dressing
• Crispy bread rolls with butter

   

Crayfish Beach Lunch:
Seated lunch on the beach. (min 2 pax)

• Fresh, chilled oysters served with fresh lemons
• Grilled oysters with cheese and garlic topping
• Two whole fresh crayfish grilled with garlic and herb sauce
• Seasonal vegetables steamed and topped with butter
• Fresh asparagus (seasonal) rolled in smoked salmon
• Greek salad and dressing
• Crispy bread rolls with butter

Bar: Light Chardonnay, mineral water, local Tafel Lager beer, Appletizer, Orange juice
Oysters, champagne, orange juice and fishfingers served on the beach or dunes (weather depending). Fire, windscreens, tables and chairs incl.
Pick up is half an hour before sundown and drop off is half an hour afterwards. Duration: 1hour
