Ron pretty much got it! dont fix your minds on numbers. when fishing, technique becomes your most valuable asset, rod position during the fight is very important and can determine how much you are loading your equipment during the fight. adjusting your rod position to find the "right" amount of force is key (amongst drag setting, line breaking strain and rod rating.)

You can definitely use your setup in the surf for some fish. once you start targeting the big boys, you will realise that having one outfit isnt really gonna cut it.

For now have some fun with the wave garrick, black tails, shad, small kingies and so on. when you intend targeting bigger fish. we can most definitely recommend another setup.

What should we feed the fish, i mean what should we attach to the hook? I use rice, it works but not very effective. Any other suggestions?
