Can anyone tell me where in the ballito area is a good spot for surf fishing?

i have fished at shakas rock in ballito and have been really successfull

Hey boet. The shad should be around then. Mpenjati you can fish the river too but you can't take bait out. I only know a spot there called shad rock! Look for a grassy embankment with a gravel parking lot. Walk down to the beach and you'll see a set of higher rocks to your right. Slide a live carro or shad from there and you might get a garrick. To the right there is a rocky point where you can get brusher, small poensies and bronze bream. Baits - sard, chocka, pink or red prawn and rock crab. Mpenjati river you get the odd grunter and kob, with rock salmon and small kingys being the targets. Catch some mullet (without a throw net) and try a livie. Also try trafalgar to the left of impenjati mouth and central rock further to your left. Tight lines boet
